The time of the lone wolf is over.
Our future depends on learning to move in harmony and collaboration.
Look for any excuse to practice at being in circle.

Embracing the Wisdom of the Crone:
A small group journey with
Magic Mushrooms
Crone means crown. Her deep wisdom and powerful presence are seen as a threat to the system of “power over” that the patriarchy has constructed. She practices power within and power with others, not power over. She has been ridiculed, said to be ugly, and bad tempered, especially when she owns her sovereignty, protects her boundaries, speaks her truth, and inspires others to do the same. A Crone standing in her powerful presence and wisdom exudes a radiance that is beautiful to behold. She is the embodiment of her soul essence and an elder to be honored and respected for her wise ways of knowing and being. May we learn from her example and embrace her in our lives!
Here is what Jungian analyst Muriel McMahon has to say about the Crone:
What the world needs now are hearth-keepers. Women who will sit beside the grief of the world without flinching. Who will bless the children and confront the kings....A crone is not an old woman, she is a true one. A crone is defined by her authenticity....She is one who has stared into the cauldron of her own becoming and let the false skin burn away.
In my work with psilocybin mushrooms I have seen this "false skin burn away" in myself and others; I have felt the relief that comes with knowing who I truly am, despite what I have been taught to believe about myself as a woman in this culture. I know that we are wise, strong and stout-hearted living in a culture designed to make us doubt this truth. I am committed to reclaiming the wisdom of the Crone and hoping I am up to the task. I would love to hear from you if you are feeling called to this as well.
A group ceremony with psilocybin mushrooms that is done with intention can facilitate an initiatory process that can help you experience the deeper dimensions of inner wisdom. As we enter this stage of life, we can learn to let go of what no longer works, discover our inner strength and by learning to trust our inner knowing become the wise women we were meant to be. All people whose gender identity aligns with womanhood are welcome.
I will be facilitating this group with sister crone Rose Engeln* we are both seasoned facilitators, and plan to use all kinds of fun modalities like movement, collage and writing to help you prepare for, move through, and integrate your experience so that you can share the pearls of wisdom that emerge in community.

Winter Solstice Dream Ceremony with Low-Dose Psilocybin
The winter solstice is a potent time for deep inner reflection, dreaming together, and setting intentions for the season. This event is an invitation to explore the sacredness of this time in a safe communal space, while connecting with your deep psyche and opening to the collective wisdom that can be revealed in honoring both dreams and the magic of psychedelic mushrooms.
As a part of our ceremony, we will be engaging in collective dreaming. This is an ancient practice that involves the sharing of dreams in community and weaving dream images, feelings and associations together, discovering patterns and reflecting on the wisdom that emerges from this process. Participants will receive a light dose of psilocybin, which can deepen the process by opening up novel possibilities and connections. The amount of psilocybin will be quite small: you may notice a slightly altered state, the presence of vivid imagery, and a more expansive feeling, without a loss of your usual sense of reality.
This ceremony will take place at the 7 Gates Sanctuary, an Authorized Psilocybin Service Center in SE Portland, from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm on December 21st. I will be co-facilitating with Willow Hall. If you would like to learn more about this gathering or register, let me know through the Contact Form. Space will be limited.
Cost: $180, due upon registration - plus
approximately $40 for the mushrooms - this needs to be paid in cash when you arrive at the ceremony.
